Services Provided
- Prospective clients have a 20 minute free telephonic consultation. We determine if I can be of assistance and how.
- Most services will require that I sign Power of Attorney required to represent the client before the appropriate government authority. A fee of $500 is charged to have me sign the Power of Attorney to represent you. Normally, for tax related representation, if I can resolve the client’s concerns in my initial calls to the client’s satisfaction (payment plan, non collectible status, penalty abatement, etc…), the initial $500 fee is the only fee charged, we call it a day and the client’s file is closed.
- If the client determines further services are required, a retainer agreement is subsequently prepared and sent to the client for signature. Further representation normally requires additional fees.
Summary
- We talk, we see what you need, and see if I can do anything for you.
- If we move forward, I get a Power of Attorney from you and I call the government. I order everything they have on you. If I can resolve your issue in the first call (and you are good with it), we are done and I get to keep the $500.
- If you need more help, we discuss. A retainer agreement is sent to you. I charge an additional fee.
- I do prefer flat fee arrangements on a piece by piece basis. Alternatives can be made.
